Ingredients

  • 6 dates (deseeded)
  • 20g tamarind (soaked)
  • 150g jaggery
  • 0 tsp chaat masala
  • 90g garlic (shaved)
  • 0.75 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp Namkeen Boondi
  • 50ml water

Add ingredients to jar

Add dates, tamarind, jaggery, chaat masala, garlic, Kashmiri Mirch, salt, Namkeen Boondi, and water to The Upliance 2.0 jar.

The device will now blend

Select blend mode on The Upliance 2.0. The device will automatically blend the ingredients for 30 seconds at speed 4, followed by 10 seconds at speed 9 and then 60 seconds at speed 13 with automatic stirring at 95°C using the TAT heating mode.

Repeat the above (if needed)

If the chutney is not blended to your desired consistency, repeat the blending process as needed, adjusting the time and speed settings accordingly on The Upliance 2.0.

The dish is ready

Once blended, strain the chutney into a bowl using the provided strainer. Garnish with 10g of Namkeen Boondi if desired. The Date and Tamarind Chutney is ready to serve.
