    • 4 cloves Garlic (peeled)
    • 30 stem Coriander Leaves (roots removed)
    • 1 unit Roasted Chana dal
    • 5 g Green Chilli
    • 10 g Ginger (peeled)
    • 70 g Peanuts (raw)
    • 180 g Coconut (freshly grated)
    • 1 tsp Jeera Powder
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 0.5 tbsp Tamarind Paste
    • 220 g Water
    • 1 tbsp Refined Oil
    • 0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds
    • 10 leaves Curry Leaves

    Instructions

Coconut Chutney is a delightful South Indian condiment that pairs beautifully with breakfast and snack dishes like Idli, Dosa, Uttapam and Medu Vada.

    1. 1

Add initial ingredients for grinding to The Upliance jar

Add peeled garlic, root-cut coriander leaves, roasted chana dal, green chili, peeled ginger, and 60g raw peanuts to The Upliance jar. The built-in scale will precisely measure each ingredient as you add them.

    2. 2

The Upliance will now chop and roast the ingredients

The Upliance will chop these ingredients for approximately 55 seconds. Then, it will roast the peanuts on medium heat for 4 minutes with automatic stirring, ensuring perfect texture.

    3. 3

Add coconut and spices for blending, then adjust consistency

Add freshly grated coconut, jeera powder, salt, tamarind paste, and 120g water to The Upliance jar. The device will blend these on high speed for approximately 65 seconds at low heat with automatic stirring. Then, add the remaining 100g water and blend again for about 90 seconds to achieve the desired chutney consistency.

    4. 4

      The Coconut Chutney is ready

Your fresh coconut chutney is ready. Meanwhile, prepare the tempering by heating refined oil in a separate pan, adding mustard seeds, curry leaves, and 10g raw peanuts, and sautéing on high heat until the peanuts are roasted and mustard seeds splutter. Pour the hot tempering over the chutney before serving.
