Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 0.5 tsp Panch Phoran
  • 0.5 tsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Dried Red Chilli (remove stem)
  • 300g Tomatoes (cut into two)
  • 0.75 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 20 Dates
  • 10 Raisins
  • 0.5 tsp Sugar
  • 70g Cashews

Instructions

Add initial ingredients to jar

Add Mustard Oil, Panch Phoran, Fennel Seeds, Bay Leaf, and Dried Red Chilli to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select "Smoking Oil" mode at 110°C for 30 seconds. The device will now bloom the spices.

The device will now sauté spices and tomatoes

Add Tomatoes and Kashmiri Mirch to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select "Sautéing Spices" mode at 100°C for 15 minutes with automatic stirring. The device will now sauté the spices and tomatoes.

Add remaining ingredients and cook

Add Dates, Raisins, and Sugar to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select "Cooking Tomato Tok" mode at 95°C for 10 minutes with automatic stirring. The device will now simmer the Tomato Tok.

The dish is ready

Remove the Tomato Tok from The Upliance 2.0 jar. Garnish with Cashews and serve. The dish is ready.
