    • 2 dried red chillies (stemmed)
    • 1 tbsp coconut oil

    Instructions

Pineapple Pulissery is a South Indian curry known for its sweet and tangy flavors. This dish combines ripe pineapple chunks with a yogurt and coconut-based gravy, creating a delightful blend of fruity and creamy tastes. Pair with Steamed Rice

    1. 1

Add ingredients for paste & initial boil to jar

Add 50 g shredded coconut, 1 tsp jeera, 1 stemmed green chilli, and 80 g water to The Upliance Blender to make a fine paste. Separately, add 250 g diced pineapple, 200 g water, 0.25 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt, and 2 tsp sugar to The Upliance jar.

    2. 2

The device will now cook the pineapple

The Upliance will now automatically cook the pineapple mixture at low heat for approximately 11 minutes (6 minutes, then 5 minutes) with automatic stirring, ensuring the pineapple is tender and infused with spices.

    3. 3

Repeat the above for pulissery gravy

Repeat the above process by adding the freshly blended coconut paste and 80 g thick curd to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will then simmer the pulissery gravy at low heat for 10 minutes with automatic stirring, creating a rich and creamy texture.

    4. 4

      The dish is ready

The dish is ready. Transfer the Pineapple Pulissery to a serving bowl. In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp coconut oil, add 0.5 tsp mustard seeds, 10 washed curry leaves, and 2 stemmed dried red chillies. Temper until fragrant and pour over the pulissery. Garnish and serve with steamed rice.
