    • 500 ml Water (for soaking chickpeas)
    • 400 ml Water (for boiling chickpeas)
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 3 cloves Garlic
    • 1 Green Chilli (stem removed)
    • 70 g Beetroot (peeled and cut)
    • 1.5 tsp Jeera Powder
    • 1.5 tbsp Lemon Juice
    • 1.5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • 75 g Chickpea Water
    • 1 tbsp Tahini Paste
    • 60 g Ice Cubes
    • 1 stem Coriander Leaves (minced, for garnish)

    Instructions

Vibrant and colorful, beetroot hummus is a twist on the classic dip, infused with the earthy sweetness of roasted beets. Blended to perfection, it offers a velvety texture and a delightful balance of flavors. A visually striking and nutritious option, this beetroot hummus is a must-try for hummus lovers

    1. 1

      Prepare Aromatics and Beetroot

Add 70 g peeled and cut beetroot, 3 cloves garlic, and 1 green chilli (stem removed) to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will now mince these ingredients at high speed for 25 seconds (15 seconds at speed 12, then 10 seconds at speed 11) to create a fine paste.

    2. 2

      Combine and Initial Blend

Add 120 g boiled chickpeas, 0.5 tsp salt, 1 tsp jeera powder, 1.5 tbsp lemon juice, 0.5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 35 g chickpea water, 1 tbsp tahini paste, and 60 g ice cubes to The Upliance jar with the minced beetroot. The Upliance will begin to blend these ingredients on medium speed for 50 seconds (30 seconds at speed 6, then 20 seconds at speed 8) to start forming the hummus.

    3. 3

      Refine Hummus Texture

Repeat the above. Add an additional 40 g chickpea water (or more to taste) into The Upliance jar. The Upliance will blend again on high speed for 25 seconds (5 seconds at speed 12, then 20 seconds at speed 11) to achieve a smooth, velvety hummus.

    4. 4

      Garnish and Serve

The dish is ready. Transfer the beetroot hummus to a serving bowl. Garnish with a drizzle of 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, a sprinkle of 0.5 tsp jeera powder, and 1 stem minced coriander leaves before serving.
