Ingredients

  • 120 g Chickpeas (soaked overnight and pressure cooked)
  • 70 g Beetroot (peeled and cut into chunks)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 1 whole Green Chilli (stem removed)
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1.5 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 35 g Chickpea Water (reserved from boiling)
  • 1 tbsp Tahini Paste
  • 60 g Ice Cubes
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (minced)

Instructions

Add aromatics to jar

Add the beetroot chunks, garlic cloves, and green chilli to The Upliance jar. Ensure the lid is secured.

The device will now mince ingredients

The Upliance will automatically mince the beetroot and aromatics for 25 seconds at high speed to create a fine base.

Add remaining ingredients and blend

Add the boiled chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, spices, chickpea water, and ice cubes to the jar. The Upliance will blend everything for 2 minutes using variable speeds to create a velvety texture.

The beetroot hummus is ready. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh coriander leaves, a pinch of cumin, and a drizzle of olive oil.
