Ingredients

  • 400 g Pork Belly (diced)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper (powder)
  • 2.5 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce (divided)
  • 1.25 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste (divided)
  • 4 tsp Sugar
  • 120 g Carrot (cut into chunks)
  • 1 piece Onion (quartered)
  • 1000 ml Water
  • 2 Star Anise
  • 4 Dried Red Chilli (seeds removed)
  • 3 pieces Lemon (sliced)

Instructions

1

Marinate pork and melt sugar

2

Caramelize the pork

Add the marinated pork to the jar. The Upliance will now cook the pork on low heat for 10 minutes with automatic stirring to coat the meat in the caramelized sugar.

3

Braise the stew

Add water, carrots, onions, remaining soy sauce, spices, and ginger garlic paste. The device will simmer the stew on low heat for 30 minutes with gentle automatic stirring.
