Ingredients

  • 100 g Chickpeas (soaked overnight and pressure cooked)
  • 1 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 0.5 tsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 0.25 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)
  • 130 g Onion (peeled and cut into quarters)
  • 10 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 5 g Ginger (peeled)
  • 1 Green Chilli (stem removed)
  • 130 g Tomato (rough chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Chole Masala
  • 1 tbsp Rajma Masala
  • 0.75 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 5 stems Coriander Leaves (chopped)

Instructions

Prepare the aromatics

Add oil, jeera, hing, onion quarters, garlic cloves, ginger, and green chilli to The Upliance jar.

The device will chop the vegetables and then sauté the mixture on medium heat for approximately 9 minutes with automatic stirring until golden.

Add tomatoes, spices and cook

Add tomatoes, chole masala, rajma masala, turmeric, salt, and the boiled chickpeas with their water to The Upliance jar. The device will cook the gravy on low heat for 12 minutes.

The dish is ready

The gravy is now cooked. Open the lid, garnish with ghee and fresh coriander leaves, and serve hot.
