Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Pomace Olive Oil
  • 10 g Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 1 piece Onion (cut in two)
  • 1.5 tsp Rosemary (Dried or Fresh)
  • 200 g Button Mushroom (washed)
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 140 g Pearl Barley (measured and washed)
  • 600 ml Water
  • 0.75 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 slices Cheese Slice
  • 0.5 tsp Chilli Flakes

Add aromatics to jar

Add olive oil, butter, peeled garlic, onion, and 1 tsp rosemary to The Upliance jar to begin the flavor base.

The device will now prepare the base

The device will chop the aromatics and sauté on low heat for 3 minutes. Then, add mushrooms and bay leaf. The device will chop the mushrooms and sauté the mixture on low heat for 5 minutes with automatic stirring.

Add barley and cook

Add washed pearl barley, water, salt, pepper, and cheese slices. The device will simmer the risotto on low heat for approximately 32 minutes, stirring automatically to create a creamy texture.

The dish is ready

Let the risotto sit for 5 minutes to settle. Garnish with chilli flakes and the remaining rosemary, then serve hot from The Upliance jar.
