Ingredients

  • 300 g Chicken (marinated)
  • 400 g Basmati Rice (soaked)
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1.5 tsp Green Cardamom (whole)
  • 1.5 tsp Clove (whole)
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper (whole)
  • 40 Mint leaves (cleaned)
  • 300 ml Water
  • 5 tbsp Fried Onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Add spices to jar

Add ghee, green cardamom, cloves, and black pepper to The Upliance jar. The device will sauté these on medium heat for 1 minute to release aromatics.

The device will now cook the base

Add the marinated chicken and mint leaves. The Upliance will sauté the mixture on low heat with automatic stirring to seal the meat and infuse flavors.

Repeat the above with rice

Add the soaked rice and 300ml water to the jar. The device will switch to rice cooking mode on low heat for approximately 25-30 minutes to cook the grains perfectly.

The dish is ready

Once the cooking cycle is complete, let the Biryani rest for 5 minutes. Open the lid, garnish with fried onions, and serve hot.
