Our take on the chicken pulao
Add 2 pieces of whole green cardamom, 2 pieces of clove, 0.25 tsp whole black pepper, and 2 tbsp ghee to The Upliance jar. Select sauté mode on medium heat for 1 minute to sauté the whole spices. Separately, ensure your chicken (300g biryani cut) is marinated with Kashmiri Mirch, Garam Masala, Curd, Ginger Garlic Paste, Turmeric, and 0.75 tsp salt for 1 hour. Also, measure, wash, and soak 140g basmati rice in 400ml water for 1 hour, then strain.
Add 170g cut onions, 1 piece green chilli (stem removed), 10 peeled garlic cloves, and 10 root-cut coriander leaves to The Upliance jar. The device will then automatically chop these ingredients for 10 seconds on low heat. Next, The Upliance will sauté these aromatics on low heat for 6 minutes. Then, add the marinated chicken, 40 cleaned mint leaves, 1 tbsp chicken biryani masala, and 0.75 tsp salt to the jar. The Upliance will sauté the chicken mixture on low heat for 4 minutes.
Add the strained, soaked basmati rice and 300ml water to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will now initiate the biryani cooking program, precisely controlling the temperature and using minimal stirring on low heat for approximately 39 minutes to ensure perfect, fluffy biryani. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, sauté 2 handchopped onions in 5 tbsp refined oil on low heat for 15 minutes until caramelized, to be used as a garnish.
Once The Upliance indicates the biryani cooking is complete, carefully transfer the biryani to a serving bowl. Garnish with 2g cleaned mint leaves and the separately prepared caramelized onions. The Chicken Biryani is now ready to be served.
