Ingredients

  • 140 g Rice (soaked for 1 hour)
  • 1.5 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 pieces Dried Red Chilli
  • 1 piece Bay Leaf
  • 2 pieces Green Cardamom
  • 1 g Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 tsp Saunf
  • 400 ml Water
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 70 g Frozen Peas (washed)
  • 70 g Sweet Corn (washed)
  • 4 stems Coriander Leaves (minced)

Instructions

Add spices for tempering

Add ghee, dried red chilli, bay leaf, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, and saunf to The Upliance jar. The device will heat on medium heat for 30 seconds to temper the spices.

The device will now sauté rice

Add the soaked and drained rice to The Upliance jar. The device will sauté the rice with the spices on low heat for 2 minutes with gentle automatic stirring.

Add water and cook

Add water, salt, frozen peas, and sweet corn to The Upliance jar. The device will simmer the pulao on low heat for approximately 22 minutes until the water is absorbed.

The dish is ready

Open The Upliance jar and garnish with minced coriander leaves. Serve the Jain Pulao hot.
