Ingredients

  • 140 g Basmati Rice (washed and soaked)
  • 400 ml Water
  • 130 g Onion (chopped)
  • 40 g Carrot (diced)
  • 80 g Potato (diced)
  • 30 g Frozen Peas
  • 0.5 piece Capsicum (diced)
  • 30 g Curd
  • 2 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 20 Cashews
  • 20 Raisins
  • 15 stems Coriander Leaves
  • 30 leaves Mint Leaves
  • 10 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Green Cardamom
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Dried Red Chilli
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1.5 tsp Salt

Instructions

Add herbs to jar

Add coriander stems, mint leaves, and garlic cloves to The Upliance jar. Ensure the lid is closed securely.

The device will now cut and sauté

The device chops the herbs. Once done, add ghee, oil, whole spices, cashews, raisins, and onions. The device will sauté on medium heat for 10 minutes with automatic stirring.

Repeat the above for main ingredients

Add chopped vegetables, curd, salt, drained rice, and water to the jar. The device will cook the mixture on medium heat for 17 minutes until the rice is fluffy.

The dish is ready

Open the lid, fluff the rice gently, and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with raita.
