    • 2 Black Cardamom
    • 2 Dried Red Chilli (stems removed)
    • 2 Clove
    • 2 Green Cardamom
    • 10 Cashews
    • 10 Raisins
    • 1 tsp Nigella Seeds
    • 60 g Carrot (cut)
    • 100 g Frozen Peas (washed)
    • 1.25 tsp Salt
    • 4 tsp Sugar
    • 4 stem Coriander Leaves (minced)

    Instructions

Bengali Ghee Bhath is a rich and flavorful rice dish made with ghee, whole spices, and aromatic basmati rice. The ghee adds a delicious nutty flavor and a luxurious mouthfeel, while the spices give the dish a warm and comforting aroma. It's a perfect side dish to serve with curries or enjoy on its own.

    1. 1

      Prepare and Add Aromatics

First, ensure your 140 g Basmati Rice has soaked for 1 hour as an outside instruction. Then, add 2.5 tbsp Ghee, 2 inches Cinnamon Stick, 2 Black Cardamom, 2 Dried Red Chilli (stems removed), 2 Clove, 2 Green Cardamom, 10 Cashews, 10 Raisins, and 1 tsp Nigella Seeds to The Upliance jar.

    2. 2

      Sauté Spices and Vegetables

The Upliance will now sauté the spices in ghee at medium heat for 1 minute with automatic stirring. Next, add 60 g cut Carrot, 100 g washed Frozen Peas, 1.25 tsp Salt, and 4 tsp Sugar to The Upliance jar. The device will continue to sauté the vegetables at medium heat for 4 minutes with automatic stirring, ensuring they are perfectly tender.

    3. 3

      Cook the Ghee Bhath

Now, add the previously soaked 140 g Basmati Rice and 440 ml Water to The Upliance jar. The device will then cook the Ghee Bhath at low heat for 14 minutes with gentle, periodic stirring, ensuring the rice is fluffy and perfectly cooked.

    4. 4

      Garnish and Serve

Once the cooking cycle is complete, the Ghee Bhath is ready. Garnish with 4 stems minced Coriander Leaves directly in The Upliance jar or transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot.
