This Paneer biryani is mildly spiced, delicately flavored, and a non-traditional biryani recipe. Perfect to make for lunch any day of the week, but more so on the holidays and weekends. Pair with Curd/Raita
Add 2.5 tbsp Ghee, 2 piece Green Cardamom, 2 piece Black Cardamom, 1 g Cinnamon Stick, and 0.5 tsp Jeera to The Upliance jar. Next, add 170 g sliced Onion, 1 piece de-stemmed Green Chilli, and 10 peeled Garlic Cloves. The Upliance will chop these ingredients for 20 seconds at speed 8 and then automatically sauté them on medium heat for approximately 11 minutes until golden brown with continuous stirring.
Add the pre-marinated 200 g Paneer (cut into cubes) along with approx. 20 Mint Leaves and 1 tbsp Veg Biryani Masala to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will now gently sauté these ingredients on medium heat for about 6 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine and the paneer to lightly cook with automatic stirring.
Add the pre-soaked 140 g Basmati Rice, 350 ml Water, and 0.5 tsp Salt to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will automatically cook the biryani using its specialized rice cooking modes on low to medium heat for approximately 35 minutes, ensuring perfectly fluffy and flavorful rice without manual intervention.
The biryani is now ready. Garnish with separately prepared caramelized onions (made from 2 medium hand-chopped onions sautéed in 5 tbsp Refined Oil), 0.5 tbsp Ghee, and the remaining fresh Mint Leaves. Serve hot with Curd/Raita.
Skip the knife work. Add the ingredients and let Upliance handle the rest.
