Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 0.5 tsp Jeera
  • 0.25 tsp Hing
  • 4 whole Tomato (washed)
  • 1 piece Green Chilli (stem removed)
  • 7 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 0.25 tsp Turmeric
  • 50 ml Water (for masala)
  • 200 g Potato (cut in cubes)
  • 280 ml Water (for gravy)
  • 0.75 tsp Salt
  • 3 tsp Kasoori Methi
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)

Temper the Spices

Add Ghee, Jeera, and Hing to The Upliance jar to begin the tempering process.

Cook the Masala Base

The device will now sauté the spices on medium heat for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, green chilli, garlic, Kashmiri Mirch, Turmeric, and 50ml water. The Upliance will automatically chop and cook the masala on medium heat for about 7 minutes.

Cook the Potatoes

Add the cubed potatoes, 280ml water, salt, and Kasoori Methi to the jar. The device will cook the gravy on low heat for approximately 15 minutes, using automatic stirring to ensure even cooking.

Garnish and Serve

The Aloo Tamatar Gravy is ready. Open The Upliance jar, garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves, and serve hot.
