Jain Tofu Masala

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Dried Red Chilli (remove stem)
  • 10 stems Coriander Leaves (root cut)
  • 2 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 0.25 tsp Hing
  • 2 pieces Tomato (cut in two)
  • 0.5 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 0.75 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Amchur Powder
  • 200 g Tofu (cut in cubes)
  • 80 ml Water
  • 4 stems Coriander Leaves (minced)

Instructions

Add aromatics to jar

Add dried red chillies and coriander stems to The Upliance jar. The device will chop them for 10 seconds. Add oil and hing, then select sauté mode on low heat for 30 seconds.

The device will now cook the masala

Add halved tomatoes, Kashmiri Mirch, coriander powder, salt, and amchur powder to The Upliance jar. The device will cook the mixture on low heat for 5 minutes and then blend it into a smooth sauce for 10 seconds.

Add tofu and simmer

Add the cubed tofu and water to the jar. The Upliance will simmer the gravy on low heat for 15 minutes with automatic stirring to let the flavors absorb.

The dish is ready

The Jain Tofu Masala is ready. Pour into a serving bowl and garnish with minced coriander leaves. Serve hot with Rice or Chapati.
