Upma, uppumavu or uppittu is a dish originating from the Indian subcontinent, most common in the southern states as breakfast, cooked as a thick porridge using Foxtail Millets

Add the soaked foxtail millet, masoor dal, and water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Add ghee, hing, mustard seeds, and curry leaves. Select sauté mode at 110°C for 30 seconds in The Upliance 2.0 jar.

Add frozen peas and remaining ghee to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will continue cooking at 95°C for a further 1020 seconds with automatic stirring. Season with salt to taste.
Garnish with minced coriander leaves. The Upliance 2.0 will automatically stir for 10 seconds at 20°C. The dish is ready to serve.
