Ingredients

  • 100g Foxtail Millet (soaked)
  • 50g Masoor Dal (soaked)
  • 700ml Water
  • 1.5 tbsp Ghee
  • 0.25 tsp Hing
  • 0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 10 Curry Leaves (washed)
  • 40g Spinach (washed)
  • 50g Carrot (chopped)
  • 1.25 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Green Chilli (minced)
  • 60g Onion (chopped)
  • 50g Frozen Peas
  • 0.5 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 Coriander Leaves (minced)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Add soaked ingredients and aromatics to jar

Add the soaked foxtail millet, masoor dal, and water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Add ghee, hing, mustard seeds, and curry leaves. Select sauté mode at 110°C for 30 seconds in The Upliance 2.0 jar.

The device will now sauté and cook the spices

The Upliance 2.0 will automatically sauté the spices for 30 seconds at 110°C with automatic stirring. Then, add chopped spinach, carrot, turmeric powder, green chilli, and onion. The Upliance 2.0 will cook everything together at 95°C for 180 seconds with automatic stirring.

Repeat the above with remaining ingredients

Add frozen peas and remaining ghee to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will continue cooking at 95°C for a further 1020 seconds with automatic stirring. Season with salt to taste.

The Khichdi is ready

Garnish with minced coriander leaves. The Upliance 2.0 will automatically stir for 10 seconds at 20°C. The dish is ready to serve.
