Ingredients

  • 40 g Sona Masoori Rice (washed)
  • 40 g Moong Dal Split - Yellow (soaked)
  • 400 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 5 g Ginger (peeled)
  • 100 g Potato (trimmed)
  • 100 g Cauliflower (peeled)
  • 50 g Frozen Peas (washed)
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick (1 inch)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Hing
  • 0.5 tsp Jeera
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (minced)

Instructions

Add initial ingredients to jar

Add washed rice, soaked dal, water, ghee, ginger, potato, cauliflower, peas, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, turmeric powder, hing, jeera, and mustard oil to The Upliance 2.0 jar.

The device will now cook the base

Select The Upliance 2.0's "Cooking Khichdi" preset. The device will automatically stir and cook the ingredients at 95°C for approximately 20 minutes.

Repeat the above with aromatics

After the initial cooking, add the minced coriander leaves to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will continue to stir and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 95°C.

The dish is ready

Once the cooking cycle is complete, The Upliance 2.0 will signal completion. The Bhoger Khichdi is ready to serve.
