Ingredients

  • 400 g boiled chickpeas (cooked soft)
  • 4 cloves garlic (peeled)
  • 1 green chilli (stem removed)
  • 35 g tahini paste
  • 1.5 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1.5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ice cubes (crushed)
  • 40 ml chickpea water (aquafaba)
  • 0.25 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder (for garnish)
  • 1 stem coriander leaves (minced)

Instructions

Add aromatics to jar

Add the peeled garlic cloves and green chilli to The Upliance jar. Ensure the cap and lid are secured for the mincing process.

The device will now mince

The Upliance will automatically mince the aromatics at high speed for 10 seconds to create a fine base for the dip.

Add remaining ingredients and blend

Add boiled chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, 0.5 tbsp olive oil, spices, ice cubes, and chickpea water to The Upliance jar. The device will blend at varying high speeds for approx 55 seconds to achieve a creamy texture.

The dish is ready

Transfer the smooth hummus to a serving bowl. Create a swirl with a spoon, drizzle with the remaining olive oil, and garnish with Kashmiri chili powder and coriander.
