    Ingredients

    • 1 Green Chilli (stem removed)
    • 5 stems Coriander Leaves (roots cut)
    • 1 tbsp Ghee
    • 0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds
    • 0.5 tsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
    • 0.5 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)
    • 1 Dried Red Chilli
    • 10 leaves Curry Leaves
    • 150 g Thick Curd
    • 15 g Wheat Flour
    • 0.75 tsp Salt
    • 1 tsp Sugar
    • 550 ml Water
    • 2 stems Coriander Leaves (minced)

    Instructions

    Jain kadhi is a sweet tangy yogurt-based dish made with gram flour, spices, herbs, and seasonings. This easy variant of kadhi is made without gram flour fritters (pakoda). It makes for a quick comforting lunch or dinner. Pair with a side of steamed basmati rice or roti

      Add aromatics to jar

      Add the Green Chilli and 5 stems of Coriander Leaves to The Upliance jar. Ensure the stems are removed from the chilli and roots cut from the coriander.

      The device will now cut and sauté

      The device will finely chop the aromatics. Add Ghee, Mustard Seeds, Jeera, Hing, Dried Red Chilli, and Curry Leaves. The Upliance will sauté the spices on medium heat for 30 seconds to release their aroma.

      Add main ingredients and cook

      Add Thick Curd, Wheat Flour, Salt, Sugar, and Water to The Upliance jar. The device will mix the ingredients and then cook the Kadhi on low heat for about 25 minutes with continuous automatic stirring to prevent the yogurt from splitting.

      The dish is ready

      The Kadhi is now cooked to a perfect consistency. Garnish with the minced Coriander Leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
