Add 200g peeled and sliced bitter gourd, 600ml water, and 0.75 tsp salt to The Upliance jar. Then, add 1 chopped onion to the jar.
The Upliance will first boil the bitter gourd at medium heat for 10 minutes with automatic stirring. After boiling, strain the bitter gourd and set aside. Then, the Upliance will chop the onion for 10 seconds at high speed in the jar.
Add 2 tbsp refined oil, 0.25 tsp jeera, 0.125 tsp methi seeds, 10 washed curry leaves, 10g split urad dal, and 0.5 tbsp coriander seeds to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will sauté these aromatics for 3 minutes at medium heat with automatic stirring. Then, add the previously boiled bitter gourd, 0.75 tsp salt, 2 tbsp tamarind paste, and 1 tsp jaggery powder. The Upliance will cook the bitter gourd masala for 15 minutes at medium heat with automatic stirring.
The Bitter Gourd Masala is now ready to be served hot. Enjoy with chapatis or puris!
