Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Bay Leaf
  • 14 g Coriander Seeds
  • 14 Green Cardamom
  • 20 piece Clove
  • 6 g Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 6 g Jeera
  • 8 tbsp Black Cardamom
  • 2 pieces Star Anise
  • 6 tsp Whole Black Peppercorns

Add spices to jar

Add all spices to The Upliance 2.0 jar.

The device will now roast spices

Select "roast" mode on The Upliance 2.0. Set temperature to 110°C and time to 30 minutes. The device will automatically stir the spices.

Repeat the above

Once roasting is complete, The Upliance 2.0 will automatically switch to grinding mode. The device will grind the spices in 5 intervals of 20, 10, 10, 10, and 10 seconds at speeds of 12, 10, 12, 8, and 12 respectively, with scraping between each interval. This process is repeated five times for a finely ground masala.

The Upliance 2.0 will signal completion. Transfer the garam masala from The Upliance 2.0 jar to an airtight container for storage. The garam masala is ready for use.
