Add washed rice, dal, water, ghee, ginger, green chillies, potato, onion, cauliflower, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, hing, kashmiri mirch, garam masala and dried red chilli to The Upliance 2.0 jar.
Select "Cooking Khichdi" mode on The Upliance 2.0. The device will automatically stir and cook the ingredients at 95°C for approximately 15 minutes. Then it will continue cooking at 95°C with automatic stirring for a total of 15 minutes. Then, it will continue cooking at 95°C with automatic stirring for an additional 15 minutes. Finally, it will simmer for 5 minutes at 20°C with automatic stirring.
The device will now sauté the aromatics and spices in mustard oil at 110°C for 3 minutes with automatic stirring. Then the device will sauté tomatoes at 95°C for 5 minutes with automatic stirring.
Once the cooking cycle is complete, The Upliance 2.0 will automatically stir in the optional ghee and coriander leaves. The Bengali Khichdi is ready to serve.
