    Ingredients

    • 220 g Baby Potatoes (boiled and peeled)
    • 1 Onion (cut in halves)
    • 1 Green Chilli (stem removed)
    • 5 cloves Garlic (peeled)
    • 1 Dried Red Chilli (stem removed)
    • 2 tbsp Refined Oil
    • 0.5 tsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
    • 2 Tomatoes (cut in halves)
    • 12 Cashews
    • 0.25 tsp Turmeric Powder
    • 0.25 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
    • 0.25 tsp Coriander Powder
    • 0.25 tsp Garam Masala
    • 40 g Thick Curd
    • 80 ml Water
    • 2 stems Coriander Leaves (minced)

    Instructions

    Jeera aloo is a simple and flavorful Indian side dish featuring boiled potatoes tempered with cumin seeds (jeera). The dish boasts a perfect balance of earthy cumin and tender potatoes, making it a popular accompaniment to main meals. Pair with Chapati

      Add aromatics to jar

      Add onion, green chilli, garlic, and dried red chilli to The Upliance jar. Ensure baby potatoes are boiled and marinated with turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala in a separate bowl.

      The device will now cut and sauté

      The device will chop the aromatics. Add oil and cumin seeds, then select sauté mode on low heat for 3 minutes to cook the aromatic base.

      Add remaining ingredients and cook

      Add tomatoes, cashews, and spices. The device will cook the masala on low heat for 5 minutes. Add the marinated potatoes, curd, and water. The device will simmer on low heat for 12 minutes with automatic stirring.

      The dish is ready

      The Upliance will stop automatically. Garnish the Dum Aloo with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with Chapati.
