Ingredients

  • 120 g Chickpea (soaked overnight)
  • 250 ml Water
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice (squeeze)
  • 1 piece Bay Leaf
  • 0.5 inches Cinnamon Stick
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric
  • 3 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 160 g Onion (cutFour)
  • 70 g Tomato (cutTwo)
  • 70 g Tomato Purée
  • 0.25 tsp Anardana Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Garam Masala
  • 0.5 tsp Ginger (Peel & Grate)
  • 1 tsp Chole Masala
  • 0.75 tbsp Amchur Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Hing
  • 0.75 tsp Jeera
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 5 stems Coriander Leaves (mince)
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Add initial ingredients to jar

Add soaked chickpeas, water, baking soda, lemon juice, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and turmeric to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select pressure cook mode at 100°C for 5 whistles.

The device will now pressure cook the chickpeas

Add remaining ingredients to jar

Add refined oil, onions, tomatoes, tomato puree, anardana powder, garam masala, ginger, chole masala, amchur powder, hing, jeera, black pepper, sugar, and salt to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 120°C for 10 minutes with automatic stirring.

The dish is ready
