Ingredients

  • 200 g Pineapple (chopped)
  • 200 g Banana (sliced)
  • 180 g Water
  • 20 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 0.25 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 4 tsp Tamarind Paste
  • 1 tbsp Grated Coconut
  • 20 g Coconut Oil (for tempering)
  • 0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds (for tempering)
  • 10 leaves Curry Leaves (washed)
  • 2 Dried Red Chillies (stems removed)

Instructions

1

Add fruits and water

Add pineapple, banana, and water to The Upliance jar. The built-in scale will help measure the ingredients precisely.

2

Cook the fruits

The device will now cook the contents on low heat for approximately 12 minutes. Automatic stirring ensures the fruits soften evenly without mashing completely.

3

Add spices and simmer

Add sugar, turmeric, chili powder, salt, tamarind paste, and grated coconut to the jar. The Upliance will mix and simmer the pachadi on low heat for another 15 minutes.

4

Temper and Serve

The dish is ready. Pour the pachadi into a bowl. In a separate small pan, heat coconut oil and temper mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried chilies, then pour over the dish to finish.
