Add 50g peeled ginger, 250ml water, 150g sugar, and 2 star anise to The Upliance 2.0 jar.
The Upliance 2.0 will now boil the mixture in the jar at 95°C for 6 minutes using automatic stirring. Then, it will continue to stir at 95°C for 45 minutes with a stir duty of 6 and stir angle of 140 degrees.
If making a larger batch, repeat step 1 and 2, scaling ingredients according to the provided scale models. The Upliance 2.0's automatic scaling will adjust cooking times accordingly.
Once the cooking cycle is complete, allow the syrup to cool slightly. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a bottle and store according to instructions. To make ginger ale, add 3 tbsp of the syrup, 30g of fresh ginger and 200g soda water to a glass.
