Ingredients

  • 280 g Basmati Rice (washed and soaked for 1 hour)
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • Whole Spices: Cinnamon, Bay Leaf, Black Cardamom, Red Chilli (whole)
  • 120 g Onion (sliced)
  • 200 g Frozen Peas (washed)
  • 2 pieces Carrot (chopped)
  • 10 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 100 g Sweet Corn (washed)
  • Spices: Salt, Kashmiri Mirch, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala
  • 580 g Water
  • 4 stems Coriander Leaves (minced)

Instructions

Sauté Whole Spices

Add ghee, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, bay leaves, and dried red chilies to The Upliance jar. The device will sauté these on medium heat for 30 seconds to release aromatics.

Cook Vegetable Base

The device will now cook the vegetable base. Add onions, carrots, peas, corn, garlic, and powdered spices to the jar. The Upliance will sauté the mixture on low heat for 5 minutes with automatic stirring.

Cook the Pulao

Add soaked rice and water to The Upliance jar. The device will cook the mixture on low heat for approximately 17 minutes until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.

Garnish and Serve

The dish is ready. Let the rice sit for 10 minutes to fluff out. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with raita.
