Egg Chettinad is a spicy South Indian dish from Tamil Nadu, featuring boiled eggs in a rich, aromatic gravy made with roasted spices, coconut, onions, and tomatoes. Known for its bold flavors and slight tang, it’s a signature of Chettinad cuisine.

Add onion, garlic, ginger, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, fennel seeds, jeera, black cardamom, dried red chilies, and coriander seeds to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 120°C for 5 minutes until onions turn translucent.
The Upliance 2.0 will automatically stir and sauté the aromatics and spices for 5 minutes at 120°C. Then add refined oil and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add chopped tomatoes and chettinad masala to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select simmer mode at 100°C for 10 minutes with automatic stirring. Add boiled and halved eggs and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Garnish with minced coriander leaves. Remove from The Upliance 2.0 jar and serve hot. The Upliance 2.0 will automatically clean itself.
