Curd, popularly known in India as Dahi, is pretty much a staple food. It is one of the easiest milk recipes to be made, and all you need is a small amount of curd, which has to be added to well-boiled milk, to make thick, delicious curd.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Packet Milk
  • 10 g Curd (starter)
  • 1 Dried Red Chilli

Add the milk

Add 500g of packet milk to The Upliance jar. Ensure the lid is secured properly.

Heat the milk

The device will now heat the milk on low heat for about 2 minutes to reach the optimal temperature and prepare it for fermentation.

Add starter and incubate

Add the curd starter and dried red chilli to the jar. The device will mix and maintain a constant low heat for 8 hours to automate the fermentation process.

The dish is ready

The homemade curd is set. Transfer the contents from The Upliance jar to a bowl and refrigerate to firm up before serving.
