    • 6 g Ginger (peeled)
    • 1 piece Green Chilli (stem removed)
    • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
    • 1 piece Bay Leaf
    • 1 piece Dried Red Chilli
    • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick
    • 2 pieces Green Cardamom
    • 0.5 tsp Hing
    • 1.5 tbsp Ghee
    • 10 g Coconut (sliced and fried)
    • 10 g Cashews (fried)
    • 10 g Raisins (fried)
    • 1 tsp Jeera Powder
    • 0.75 tsp Coriander Powder
    • 0.5 tsp Turmeric Powder
    • 0.25 tsp Garam Masala

    Instructions

    Dal Makhni is a classic North Indian dish known for its creamy texture and rich flavors. It is made using black lentils and kidney beans, slow-cooked with spices, and finished with a luscious touch of butter and cream. Pair with Naan/Chapati or Rice

      Add fresh aromatics to jar

      Add peeled ginger and green chilli to The Upliance jar. Ensure the cap is on for chopping.

      The device chops the aromatics. Add mustard oil, bay leaf, dried red chilli, cinnamon, cardamom, and hing. The device will sauté on medium heat for 1 minute.

      Add dal and simmer

      Add the pressure-cooked dal, turmeric, coriander powder, jeera powder, and salt. The device will cook the mixture on medium heat for 12 minutes with automatic stirring.

      The dish is ready

      Add ghee, garam masala, and the fried dry fruits (coconut, cashews, raisins). The device performs a final mix. Serve hot.
