Ingredients

  • 140 g Basmati Rice (soaked for 60 minutes)
  • 400 ml Water (for soaking)
  • 420 ml Water (for cooking)
  • 10 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 5 stems Coriander (roots cut)
  • 0.75 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 0.5 tsp Jeera (cumin seeds)
  • 4 stems Coriander Leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Chop aromatics

Add garlic cloves and coriander stems to The Upliance jar. The device will chop the aromatics finely in just 10 seconds.

Cook the rice

Strain the soaked rice and add it to The Upliance jar along with fresh water and salt. The device will cook the rice on medium heat (100°C) for 17 minutes.

Temper with Ghee and Jeera

Add ghee and jeera to the jar. The device will sauté the tempering on high heat (>120°C) for 1 minute to release the aromas.

The dish is ready

Garnish the rice with fresh coriander leaves. The Jeera Rice is ready to be served hot.
