Ingredients

  • 250 g Bitter Gourd (sliced)
  • 200 g Water
  • 0.75 tsp Salt (divided)
  • 0.5 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric
  • 0.25 tsp Jeera Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Garam Masala
  • 0.25 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 2 tbsp Refined Oil

Prepare the Karela

Add bitter gourd, water, 0.5 tsp salt, and lemon juice to a bowl. Soak for 15-30 minutes, then drain and pat dry before cooking in The Upliance.

Coat with Spices

In a bowl, mix the drained karela with oil, corn flour, remaining salt, and all spice powders. Ensure the chips are evenly coated for The Upliance.

Start Air Frying

Place the coated karela into The Upliance Air Fryer basket. Cook on high heat for 7 minutes. Shake the basket when prompted to ensure even crisping.

Finish and Serve

Continue cooking on high heat for another 7 minutes until the chips are crispy and golden. The dish is ready to serve with dal-rice.
