    Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp ghee
    • 1 tsp hing
    • 0.25 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
    • 1 tsp coriander powder
    • 1 tsp green chilli (finely chopped)
    • 20 cloves garlic (peeled)
    • 2 pieces ginger (cut into four)
    • 2 pieces onion (cut into four)
    • 150 leaves mint (washed)
    • 140 g basmati rice (measured)
    • 3 pieces cashews (removed from shell)
    • 6 g garam masala

    Instructions

    Pudina Rice or Pudina Pulao is a fragrant, spicy, and easy one-pot dish made with fresh mint leaves, basmati rice, onions, spices, and cashews. Pair with Curd/Raita

      Add initial ingredients to jar

      Add ghee, hing, jeera, coriander powder, green chilli, garlic, ginger, and onion to The Upliance jar. Select sauté mode at 100°C for 60 seconds with lid off. The device will automatically stir.

      The device will now cook the rice

      Add washed mint leaves, basmati rice, and garam masala to The Upliance jar. Select the cooking mode at 20°C for 10 seconds followed by 95°C for 15 minutes and then 20°C for 7 minutes with the lid on. The device will automatically stir and adjust temperature.

      Add Cashews

      Add cashews to The Upliance jar. Select sauté mode at 95°C for 4 minutes with lid off. The device will automatically stir.

      The dish is ready

      The Upliance will signal completion. Carefully remove the Mint Pulao from The Upliance jar and serve.
