Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 1 tsp Nigella Seeds
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 5 Dried Red Chilli (stems removed)
  • 8 pieces Tomato (halved)
  • 12 tsp Sugar
  • 50 g Jaggery
  • 0.5 tbsp Tamarind Paste
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Mint Leaves (cleaned)

Instructions

Add spices to jar

Add Refined Oil, Nigella Seeds, Bay Leaf, and Dried Red Chilli to The Upliance jar to prepare the base tempering.

Add tomatoes and cook

Add halved tomatoes, sugar, jaggery, tamarind paste, and salt to The Upliance jar. The device will cook the mixture on low heat for approximately 28 minutes, stirring continuously to break down the tomatoes and thicken the chutney.
