Follow this easy recipe to make 6–8 medium-sized Aloo Tikkis (potato patties).
Add 500 g potatoes and 700 g water to The Upliance jar. Select 'Boil' mode at high heat for 15 minutes to cook until tender. Once cooked, let potatoes cool slightly.
Once cooled, peel and mash the boiled potatoes. Add the mashed potatoes along with 2 tbsp corn flour, 1 tsp jeera powder, 0.5 tsp kashmiri mirch, 1 tsp chaat masala, 0.25 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp salt, 1 finely chopped green chilli, 3 g grated ginger, and 10 stems minced coriander leaves to The Upliance jar. Select 'Mix' mode for 30 seconds with automatic stirring until a well-combined dough forms.
Divide the potato mixture into 6-8 portions and shape them into patties (outside instruction). Place the tikkis in an air fryer basket and brush both sides with oil. Place the basket in The Upliance. Select 'Air Fry' mode at high heat for 7 minutes, with automatic stirring. After 7 minutes, flip the tikkis using a spatula.
Continue air frying the tikkis in The Upliance at high heat for another 8 minutes with automatic stirring until golden and crispy. The Aloo Tikki is now ready. Serve hot with chutneys or in buns.
Skip the knife work. Add the ingredients and let Upliance handle the rest.
