Ingredients

  • 140 g Basmati Rice (washed and soaked for 1 hour)
  • 140 g Sona Masoori Rice (washed and soaked for 1 hour)
  • 1.5 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 pieces Dried Red Chilli
  • 1 piece Bay Leaf
  • 2 pieces Green Cardamom
  • 1 g Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 tsp Saunf
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 70 g Frozen Peas (washed)
  • 70 g Sweet Corn (washed)
  • 400 ml Water
  • 4 stems Coriander Leaves (minced)

Instructions

Temper the spices

Add ghee, dried red chillies, bay leaf, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, and saunf to The Upliance jar.

Sauté spices

The device will now sauté the spices on medium heat for 30 seconds to release their essential oils and aroma.

Add rice and cook

Add the soaked rice (strained), frozen peas, sweet corn, salt, and 400ml water to the jar. The device will cook the mixture on low heat for approximately 22 minutes.

Rest and Serve

The dish is ready. Let the rice sit for 5 minutes to fluff up, then garnish with minced coriander leaves and serve.
