Ingredients

  • 150 g Masoor Dal- Split
  • 150 g Split Urad Dal
  • 150 g Moong Dal Split - Yellow
  • 2 tsp Jeera
  • 2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Hing
  • 6 tsp Kasoori Methi
  • 4 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 3 Dried Red Chilli (stem removed)
  • 25 leaves Curry Leaves
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 4 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 3 tsp Amchur Powder
  • 3 tsp Turmeric
  • 480 g Water

Roast the Lentils

Add Masoor, Urad, and Moong dals to The Upliance jar. The device will dry roast them on medium heat for 15 minutes with continuous automatic stirring to ensure even browning.

Grind into Powder

The device will now grind the roasted lentils. Using high-speed blending pulses, The Upliance pulverizes the mixture into a fine powder over approximately 3 minutes.

Temper and Cook

Add oil, spices, and curry leaves to the jar to sauté. Add the ground dal powder, powdered spices, and water. The Upliance will cook the mixture on low heat for 10 minutes with consistent stirring.

Serve the Dal

The dish is ready. Pour the hot, flavorful dal into a serving bowl. The instant mix creates a creamy texture perfect for pairing with rice.
