    • 10 cloves garlic (peeled)
    • 4 g ginger (peeled)
    • 130 g onion (cut into quarters)
    • 2 pieces green chilli (stem removed)
    • 20 g cashews

    • 80 ml water
    • 0.5 tbsp Kasoori Methi

    Instructions

Andhra Chicken Curry, popularly known as Kodi Kura, is a fiery, aromatic, and spicy dish originating from the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh

    1. 1

Prepare Chicken Marinade and Sauté Initial Aromatics

Begin by marinating the chicken with ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp Kashmiri mirch, turmeric, and lemon juice in a separate bowl and set aside for 1 hour. Next, add refined oil, ghee, olive oil, cinnamon stick, and cloves to The Upliance jar. Select sauté mode at medium heat for 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add peeled garlic, peeled ginger, quartered onion, green chillies (stem removed), cashews, and grated coconut.

    2. 2

Automate Chopping and Sautéing of Aromatics

The Upliance will now chop the added aromatics for 10 seconds. Following this, it will automatically sauté the mixture at medium heat with continuous stirring for approximately 8 minutes until golden brown and aromatic.

    3. 3

Cook Tomato Gravy and Simmer Chicken

Repeat the above by adding 0.5 tsp salt, 2 tsp Kashmiri mirch, cut tomatoes, and coriander powder to The Upliance jar. The device will cook this mixture at low heat with automatic stirring for 7 minutes, followed by a quick blend. Then, add the pre-marinated chicken and water. The Upliance will now simmer the chicken curry at low heat with automatic stirring for 45 minutes until the chicken is tender and the gravy thickens to perfection.

    4. 4

      Garnish and Serve

The dish is ready. Garnish the Andhra Chicken Curry with Kasoori Methi in The Upliance jar and serve hot.
