    Instructions

An aromatic fish curry from coastal Karnataka. This is a recipe where you make the sauce in DelishUp and fry the fish on stove and then cook all the goodness together in DelishUp. Pair with fluffy appams, dosa or rice.

    1. 1

      Initial Preparation in Upliance

Add 2.5 tbsp Coconut Oil and 10 washed Curry Leaves to The Upliance jar. Then add 2 pieces Dried Red Chilli (cut into four), 1 piece Green Chilli (stem removed), 2 pieces Onion (stem removed), and 5 peeled Garlic cloves. The Upliance will perform the cutting action for the onions and blend the aromatics automatically for 10 seconds.

    2. 2

      Automated Sautéing and Tomato Cooking

The device will now sauté the aromatics for 6 minutes on low heat with automatic stirring. Add 2 pieces Tomato (cut into two), 2 tsp Coriander Powder, and 0.75 tsp Salt to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will then cook the tomatoes for 7 minutes on low heat with automatic stirring and finish with a 5-second high-speed mix.

    3. 3

      Curry Base and Fish Integration

Repeat the above by adding 200 ml Water, 50 g Raw Mango (cubed), 6 g Jaggery (shaved), 0.75 tsp Sugar, and 150 g Coconut Milk to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will cook the curry base for 10 minutes on low heat with automatic stirring. Meanwhile, fry the marinated Basa fish on a separate pan with 4 tbsp Refined Oil until golden. Add the fried fish to The Upliance jar. The Upliance will gently cook the fish in the curry for 5 minutes on low heat with automatic stirring.

    4. 4

      Final Garnish and Serving

The dish is ready. Garnish the Mango Fish Curry with 4 stems of minced Coriander Leaves directly in The Upliance jar or serving bowl. Serve hot with appams, dosa, or rice.
