This traditional North-Indian style, one-pot Chicken Curry is made with onion and tomatoes, and uses regular spices that are easily available in your kitchen. Pair this curry with steamed rice, naan or appam.
Add Ghee and whole spices (Bay Leaf, Black Cardamom, Clove, Jeera, Hing) to The Upliance jar. Select sauté mode at high heat for 60 seconds until fragrant. Then add peeled Garlic, peeled Ginger, quartered Onion, stem removed Green Chilli, and root cut Coriander Leaves. The Upliance will automatically chop them for 10 seconds, then continue to sauté on low heat for approximately 9 minutes (420 seconds + 120 seconds) until softened and light golden.
Now, add the washed Chicken Curry Cut, cut Chicken Breast, cut Boneless Chicken Thighs along with Garam Masala, Salt, Kashmiri Mirch, Turmeric, and Coriander Powder to The Upliance jar. The device will now sauté and mix the chicken with spices on medium heat for approximately 9 minutes (540 seconds), ensuring an even coating and initial browning with automatic stirring.
Repeat the above process by adding Water and Curd to The Upliance jar. The device will now cook the Murg Pyaz Masala. It will bring the curry to a boil on medium heat for 3 minutes (180 seconds), then simmer on low heat for approximately 22 minutes (720 seconds + 600 seconds) with automatic stirring, allowing the chicken to tenderize and the flavors to meld beautifully into a rich gravy.
The dish is ready! Once the cooking cycle is complete, add Kasoori Methi and softened Butter to The Upliance jar for a final flavor boost, or add directly to individual servings in a bowl. Stir gently and serve your Murg Pyaz Masala hot with steamed rice, naan, or appam.
Skip the knife work. Add the ingredients and let Upliance handle the rest.
