    Ingredients

    • 100 g Chickpeas (soaked overnight and pressure cooked)
    • 2 tbsp Refined Oil
    • 1 tsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
    • 0.25 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)
    • 3 pieces Tomato (halved)
    • 1 piece Green Chilli (stalk removed)
    • 0.625 tsp Red Chilli Powder
    • 0.5 tsp Turmeric Powder
    • 0.5 tbsp Anardana Powder
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 70 ml Water
    • 1 tbsp Ghee
    • 5 stems Coriander Leaves (chopped)

    Prepare the masala base

    Add 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp jeera, 0.25 tsp hing, and 3 halved tomatoes to The Upliance jar. The device is ready to start the automated process.

    The device will now chop and sauté

    The Upliance will chop the tomatoes and sauté the mixture on medium heat for approximately 6 minutes. The automatic stirring ensures the aromatics are perfectly cooked without burning.

    Add chickpeas and simmer

    Add the pressure-cooked chickpeas, green chilli, salt, anardana powder, red chilli powder, turmeric, and 70ml water to the jar. The device will cook the curry on low heat for 30 minutes to blend the flavors.

    The dish is ready

    Once the cooking cycle is complete, mix in 1 tbsp ghee and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with poori, rice, or paratha.
