Ingredients

  • 140 g Basmati Rice (soaked for 1 hour)
  • 2.5 tbsp Ghee (divided)
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 0.25 tsp Hing
  • 1 Dried Red Chilli
  • 200 g Onion
  • 15 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 6 g Ginger (peeled)
  • 2 Green Chillies (cut into four)
  • 30 Mint Leaves
  • 200 g Button Mushroom
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1.125 tsp Salt
  • 300 ml Water
  • 2 stems Coriander Leaves (minced)

Instructions

Prepare the aromatic base

Add 2 tbsp ghee, jeera, hing, dried red chilli, and onions to The Upliance jar.

Sauté aromatics and mushrooms

The device will now chop the onions and sauté on medium heat for 3 minutes. After prompting, add mushrooms, garlic, ginger, green chillies, and mint. The device will sauté on low heat for 5 minutes.

Cook the rice

Add garam masala, coriander powder, salt, water, and the soaked rice to the jar. The device will cook the pulao on low heat for approximately 27 minutes with intermittent automatic stirring.

Serve the dish

The dish is ready. Garnish with the remaining 0.5 tbsp of ghee and fresh minced coriander leaves before serving.
