Add 80g Masoor Dal- Split to a bowl with 200g water and let it soak for 120 minutes. Once soaked, drain the dal. Meanwhile, add 2 tbsp Ghee, 1 tsp Jeera, and 0.25 tsp Hing to The Upliance jar.
The Upliance will now sauté the whole spices on medium heat for 30 seconds. Then, add 10 peeled cloves Garlic, 2g peeled Ginger, 1 cut Onion, 1 Green Chilli (stem removed), and 10 stems of Coriander Leaves (root cut) to the jar. The Upliance will cut the aromatics at speed 6 for 10 seconds. After cutting, it will sauté the aromatics for 3 minutes on low heat. Add 0.5 tsp Coriander Powder, 1 tsp Garam Masala, 0.5 tsp Kashmiri Mirch, 0.25 tsp Turmeric, 1 tsp Salt, and 2 cut Tomatoes. The Upliance will then cook the mixture with automatic stirring on low heat for 5 minutes until well combined.
Add the pre-soaked and drained Masoor Dal, 60g washed Sona Masoori Rice, and 430g Water to The Upliance jar. Secure the lid and cap. The Upliance will now cook the khichdi on low heat with automatic stirring for approximately 30 minutes, ensuring a perfectly cooked consistency.
Once cooked, carefully open The Upliance jar. The Khichdi is ready to serve. Garnish with 2 minced stems of Coriander Leaves and 0.5 tbsp Ghee for an enhanced flavor. Enjoy your homemade Masoor Dal Khichdi!
