Ingredients

  • 120 g Medium Poha (washed, soaked for 2 mins, and drained)
  • 1 Onion (cut into 4 pieces)
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 60 g Carrot (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 50 g Frozen Peas
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric
  • 0.75 tsp Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 0.25 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 10 Curry Leaves (washed)
  • 1 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 0.5 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 30 g Roasted Salted Peanuts
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
  • Pomegranate Pearls (for garnish)
  • Sev (for garnish)

Instructions

Add aromatics and vegetables

Add the quartered onions, green chilli, and chopped carrots to The Upliance jar. Close the lid securely.

Chop and cook vegetables

The device will now chop the vegetables finely. Add frozen peas, turmeric, and 80ml water. The device will cook the mixture on low heat for 10 minutes.

Temper spices and mix Poha

Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and oil to the jar. The device will sauté the spices. Add the soaked poha, sugar, salt, and lemon juice. The device will mix everything gently on low heat for 2 minutes.

The dish is ready

Transfer the Poha to a serving bowl. Garnish generously with roasted peanuts, chopped coriander, pomegranate pearls, and sev before serving.
