You've probably eaten Kung Pao before, but not quite like this one. We've made a guilt-free version of the popular starter. Spicy diced chicken, mixed with peanuts, delicious on its own, or with rice or noodles
Add 3 tbsp refined oil, 2 pieces onion (cut into quarters), 1 piece capsicum (cut into quarters), 10 cloves garlic (peeled), 5 g ginger (peeled), 2 pieces dried red chilli (whole), and 1 piece green chilli (stems removed) to The Upliance jar. Separately, combine 0.5 tbsp corn flour, 2 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 tsp sugar, 1.5 tsp vinegar, 0.5 tbsp lemon juice (squeezed), 0.25 tsp black pepper (powdered), and 0.5 tsp salt to create the sauce mixture.
The Upliance will now automatically cut the aromatics and vegetables for approximately 37 seconds. Afterwards, select sauté mode at low heat for 6 minutes for perfect sautéing with automatic stirring. During this time, the prepared sauce mixture will be cooked in The Upliance jar on low heat for 3 minutes in parallel.
Add 200 g button mushroom (cleaned and diced), 40 g water, and 30 g roasted salted peanuts (whole) to The Upliance jar. The device will now cook the mixture on low heat with automatic stirring for approximately 20 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the sauce has thickened.
Your Kung Pao Mushroom is ready! Garnish with 5 g spring onion green (finely chopped) directly in The Upliance jar or transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot.
From kitchen rookies to seasoned chefs, everyone is leveling up their cooking game.
